Johnny Warman’s Magic Bus has performed at top international venues with some of the world’s biggest names.
The band pays tribute to classic rock and soul with three world-class sets: Mods and Rockers Show (The Very Best of the 60s and 70s), the Total Who Show (The Best of The Who) and Four Bills and a Ben (Soul and Motown Classics).
Johnny Warman, vocals and guitar. Johnny has made three highly acclaimed albums under his own name: Walking Into Mirrors, Hour Glass and From the Jungle to the New Horizons.
As one of the UK’s most successful songwriters, he has written, performed and recorded with Ringo Starr, Peter Gabriel, Asia, House of Lords, Starship, Ezio, Cheap Trick, Elaine Paige, Kiki Dee, Sir Tim Rice, John Bettis, Tony Levin, Jerry Marotta, Larry Fast and many others.
Matt Backer, Guitar and vocals. One of the most sought after guitarists in the country, Matt has worked live and in the studio with a wide range of artists including Cher, Shirley Bassey, Sinead O’Connor, ABC, Joe Cocker, Mica Paris, Stiff Little Fingers, Swing Out Sister, Julian Lennon, and Elton John.
Andy Neve, keyboards and vocals. Andy is a renowned composer of many TV and radio themes, and high-profile commercials for the BBC, ITV and Sky.
As a songwriter, he composed two songs for Shirley Bassey’s 50th anniversary album, including its title track, ‘Thank You for the Years.’ His keyboard and vocal credits also include writing and performing with Alison Moyet, Godley & Creme (10cc), Bev Bevan, The Move, Steve Hackett (Genesis) and Toyah.
Steve Tilling, bass and vocals.
For over 25 years, Steve has played bass internationally alongside Whitesnake, Marillion, the Moody Blues, Ultravox, Jethro Tull and the Chris Cornell band.
Steve is a charismatic artist and in-demand session bassist, known for his mesmerising stage presence and virtuosic studio performances.
Richard Willoughby, drums.
Over the past 20 years, Richard has recorded and performed alongside many of the world’s finest musicians and artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Black Crowes, Peter Frampton, Marillion, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Quireboys, Charly Coombes, 10cc and EMF.
A particular highlight was getting a stage-side thumbs-up from superstar drummer and front man, Dave Grohl!
Andy Hamilton, saxophone and vocals.
Andy Hamilton is a mainstay of the soul band, ‘Four Bills and a Ben’.
As perhaps the UK’s most in-demand saxophonist, Andy has recorded and toured with George Michael and Wham! for over 20 years.
His touring work with Michael continues to this day. Andy also records and performs with Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, Radiohead, Elton John, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Tina Turner, ABC and Edwin Starr.
